About the role:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for all operational activities relating to Fliway Logistics Warehouse Customers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all activities, warehouse layout and materials handling activities are in line with Fliway practice methodology, and allocated resources are utilised and coordinated to ensure the agreed customer service standards and safety requirements are met and maintained
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimising motivation, allocation, and productivity of our people (including temps), and ensure resource is scaled with revenue to maximise profitability.
- Organising and facilitating team meetings and toolbox sessions on a regular basis and ensuring strong communication within operations.
- Assessing the personal development requirements of key roles and people to develop key talent.
- Ensuring all customer requests are properly received, recorded, and processed. To convey a helpful, friendly,and courteous manner when dealing with customers.
- Acting as the prime contact for all daily operational issues and resource planning and to be tasked with identifying areas of inefficiency, provide cost savings and adding value for the benefit of both Fliway and their customers.- Meeting customers agreed SLA to 100% consistently.
- Understanding and operating the WMS currently being used by Fliway Logistics and/or the customer.
- Minimizing risk to Fliway business group through implementation and monitoring of customer service levels and cost.
- Ensuring stock put away and order processing is performed in line with best practice methodology.
- Ensuring all activities are reflected in the customers' revenue and rate schedules.
- Ensuring through daily cyclic counts that inventory integrity is maintained to expected levels.
- Adhering to financial requirements and follow the budget.
- Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and serviced in accordance with Company Policy.
- Ensuring the building is secure, this includes security.

- Full Time, 40 per week, Monday to Tuesday between 8:30am and 5:00pm in Auckland!

- Tertiary qualifications desirable (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business)
- Experience with WMS
- Demonstrated stock control/inventory experience.
- Experienced in Financial management
- Computer literate in Word, Email and Excel applications
- Strong communicator (written and verbal)
- Ability to Multitask
- Excellent organizational skills
- Calm under pressure
