About the Role
As an Experienced Physiotherapist, you will work in the outpatient service, primarily musculoskeletal, and be part of the weekend on-call roster. This is a permanent part-time role, working 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE). This is based at Wairau Hospital, Blenheim.
As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will enjoy a variety of work across the hospital setting. The block rotations are between Medical, Surgical Rehabilitation wards, the Community team. This role includes being part of the weekend on-call roster.This is a fixed term full-time role for 6 to 12 months covering parental leave, working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE). This is based at Wairau Hospital , Blenheim.
You will be working as part of an inter-disciplinary team providing quality assessment, intervention, advice and discharge planning through a patient-centred approach. The role requires you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm and you - ll be required to participate in the on-call roster at weekends.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our physiotherapy department at Wairau Hospital in Marlborough, has well-equipped treatment areas including a gym and hydrotherapy pool, and is situated within an Allied Health Hub. Clinical inpatient areas include surgical, orthopaedics, medical and rehabilitation wards with in-reach to paediatrics, HDU and the emergency department.There is a busy outpatient department with opportunity for a wide variety of musculoskeletal individual and group opportunities, as well as neurological conditions and community work. We aim to support therapists to work within their areas of interest with plenty of opportunity for an interesting and varied workload.

About you
As a Physiotherapist, you will:
- be NZ Registered with comprehensive clinical assessment and problem-solving skills,
- have the experience and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively,
- have excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals and health agencies
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
