Taege Engineering is a locally owned and operated business with over 100 years of trading history.

We have two engineering facilities in Canterbury working hand in hand.

We manufacture a range of Agricultural Seed Drills, Cultivators, Tyre Rollers and Post Drivers.

Our machinery is well known in New Zealand and Australia for its quality, strength, and durability.

We are a HAPPY small dedicated team focused on delivering for our distributors and customers globally.

We currently have an opening for a LASER OPERATOR / BAND SAW OPERATOR in the Islington manufacturing facility.

Our laser is a G-Weike 1500 fitted with a Rotulas, which we predominantly cut 1.2-4mm SS, 3-16mm Mild Steel and 2-5mm Tread Plate, while our Rotulas cuts box section and SS Tube.

Have a HAPPY nature, with a CAN DO attitude.

Proven experience operating a Laser.

Have attention to detail.

Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Ability to pass a drug test.

Current forklift licence, but assistance will be given to achieve this qualification if required.

This is a Monday to Friday position, 8.00 - 4.30 with overtime when needed.
