• Speak effectively in English.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Drug Free, we do pre employment and random testing in house during interview.
• Relevant experience and qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Automotive Truck Mechanic.
• Minimum of a full Class 1 driver’s licence (manual) but class 2-5 preferred.
• Enthusiastic and ready to learn.
• Quality focused - (No breakdowns is our goal)
• Safety conscious.
• Willing to work 50 hours per week plus additional hours when required (overtime available)
• Able to work on and off site.
• Able to work unsupervised, be enthusiastic, motivated and show initiative.
• Be a team player.
• Be punctual and ready to work.
• Must be living currently in New Zealand as a NZ citizen or permanent resident.
