On Road Field Service Technician
Some workshop-based work would also be required.
We are an established, privately owned and operated technology-focused company providing Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), electronic security and fire protection systems and services throughout New Zealand.

If you are Auckland-based, you will primarily work in the Auckland region however the position will require some travel to carry out planned routine maintenance, defect repairs and installation of ITS equipment, electronic signs and cabinets in all regions of NZ.Security work is largely focused in Auckland but some national travel is anticipated.
If you are based in the BOP, you will primarily work in the BOP and Waikato regions, with travel throughout New Zealand on occasion. The role will see the successful candidate carrying out planned routine maintenance (PPMs), defect repairs and installation of traffic tolling equipment, traffic monitoring equipment, electronic signs and roadside electronic cabinets.
Both regional roles may also be required to undertake some data analysis and reporting on the equipment you support. As we expand into new operations and services, you have the opportunity to apply your experience in shaping out in-the-field delivery whilst also developing your knowledge and technical skillset assisting with the installation and servicing of regional ITS; contributing to the delivery of road safety information and improvement.
Our roles are best suited to individuals based in the Auckland, Waikato and Tauranga regions, however candidates in other regions will also be considered. Please ensure your current or intended location is clearly identified in your application.
To be successful in this role you must enjoy driving, be prepared to travel away and prepared to operate autonomously when required.
To be considered for this role you should possess the following attributes:- Relevant experience or qualifications in either security, electrical, electronics or telecommunications.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices (training will be provided).
- Intermediate IT and mobile device literacy (training will be provided)
- Able to work autonomously and in a team.
- Proactive, self-motivated and service-driven demeanour.
- Willing to travel and hold a full, clean driver’s licence.
- Willing and able to travel for 1 – 2 weeks away, several times per year (additional allowances paid).
- Able to carry out physical work and occasional working at height.
- Deliver to a high standard of workmanship.
- Hold NZ citizenship, residency or a valid work visa.
