You
  • ll contribute to the out-of-hourspaediatric on-call roster and support a wide variety of surgical and diagnosticservices, including General Surgery, Urology, ENT, Neurosurgery, Dental,Radiology, and Oncology.The role offers a diverse mix of clinical work, including elective andacute paediatric anaesthesia, neonatal care, as well as a balance of adultanaesthesia during regular working hours.
In addition, you will supervise andsupport anaesthetic trainees, helping to shape the next generation ofspecialists.About theTeam / Service / LocationThe Paediatric Anaesthesia team is a closely connected, highly skilledgroup providing comprehensive anaesthetic services across the Canterbury region
  • a population of nearly 700,000.
All team members have completed at least onepost-fellowship year in a paediatric hospital, ensuring specialist-level care.The department is ANZCA-accredited and plays a vital role in paediatricsurgical services and supporting Christchurch
