Job Summary:The Administrative Accounting Assistant provides accounting and administrative support for the resort and condo owners, processes resort accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank feeds, and other various accounting tasks. Assists with cash room operations as needed.

Office supply ordering and mail distribution.

Essential Functions:

  • Audit and review daily revenue posting from all outlets to the general ledger
  • Review and distribute daily revenue flash reports to resort management
  • Input and monitor Accounts Payable, review for accuracy and resolve errors
  • Assist and monitor Accounts Receivable for monthly billing, groups & weddings, the After School Program, etc. Review aging bills and follow up for payment if necessary
  • Input and process bank feeds on a weekly basis
  • Resort mail distribution
  • Office supply ordering/stocking
  • Assist with cash room operations
  • Assists with the annual timeshare billing process and processing payments for Bolton Investments, LLC
  • Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed.

NOTE:All Bolton Valley employees are required to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of their assigned department, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends.

Customer Service Expectations:Employees are expected to be courteous and professional in accordance with Bolton Valley's commitment to providing superior customer service.

Qualifications:College Degree or 3 years equivalent accounting experience.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel (required)
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale software (desired)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail is a must
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work with and communicate with all levels of management
  • Must be a team player and be willing to work multiple jobs outside of the Accounting and Administrative Offices.

Physical & Mental Demands:Some long periods of sitting and working at a computer or on the phone. Must be able to work in various resort positions (inside and outside) for long periods of time.

Work Environment:Work is performed in all areas of the resort (inside and outside). The primary job is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
