About our company
Kitchen Complex Limited is a well-established cabinet making company based in Hamilton. Due to our business expansion, we are looking for cabinetry installers to join our friendly team.
What you will do but not limited to the following:
- Examining drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications
- Selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board, synthetic wood and other engineered wood products
- Programming and controlling computer-aided design and computer numerical control machines to mark out, cut and shape components
- Working from drawings and specifications to make cabinets
- Installing cabinetry in bathrooms and kitchens and commercial fitouts
- Assembling parts to form sections of cabinets and completed articles
- Applying protective coatings to cabinets
- Fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers, shelves and other associated hardware
- Receiving project briefings, interpreting project documentation, and identifying contract variations
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, and ensuring technical specifications for installation meet project requirements
Suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Either have at least two years of relevant work experience or relevant NZQCF Level 4 qualification
- Good communication and professional skills
- Punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking
- Keen to work well within a team setting
- Great attention to details
What we can offer:
- Full time employment: we have worksites in Hamilton
- Hourly rate: $27/hour gross - $30/hour gross
- Hours of week per week: a minimum of 30 hours, no more than 45 hours per week depending upon site condition, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Over time maybe expected
