We’re a growing fabricating engineering business, specialising in the full spectrum of fabrication discipline, and are now seeking positions in the following -- A motivated and experienced Light & General fabricator to join our dynamic team in Dunedin.
The successful applicant will have a can-do attitude, with proven experience in all types of light fabrication – stainless, aluminium, copper, brass and mild steel. To succeed, you will need to bring with you a trade qualification in sheet metal work or light fabrication or 5+ years proven stainless fabrication skills and knowledge, with high-quality welding, and attention to detail and accuracy.
Key Skills & Experience Required:- High quality stainless steel & alloy TIG and MIG welding experience
- Ability to read & understand CAD Drawings
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Punctual and motivated
- Ability to work unsupervised
- A team player
- Full New Zealand driver’s license
- Trade qualification or 5+ years industry knowledge and experience in sheet metal fabrication.
With optional overtime work on the Friday (paid at time & half rate) as required to meet customer deadlines.
This is a diverse role that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from architectural metal work, General engineering, Stainless steel balustrading and hand-rails, sink benches, to non-ferrous metalwork with aluminium, copper and brass, to earthquake strengthening and general structural steel.
