Christchurch - Production Operator
Temp to perm, afternoon shift 4:00PM - 12:00 AM, based in Hornby
- Long-term opportunity with an Immediate start available.
- $25.50 per hour | Must have Forklift license and experience
About the Role
Our client is looking for a Production Operator to join their busy team on the afternoon shift (4:00PM - 12:00AM). You will be working in a factory environment for a large manufacturing company based in Hornby. Starting out as a Temp, with the opportunity to go Permanent for the right person! You will be responsible for working as a team to contribute to the manufacturing of their products. Your day will consist of the following duties:
- Manufacturing multiple products
- Operating machinery to achieve the best results
- Working in a team to operate the machinery
- Performing quality checks on products
- You are expected to report all incidents and near misses
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will need:
- To be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
- Forklift license and preferably an F endorsement on your license (although this is not essential)
- Experience in a Machine Operation role and be mechanically-minded
- Must be physically fit as you will be on your feet most of the shift
- Must be able to work in a team
- A great attitude and willingness to learn
- Want to turn up to work every day, on time
