Nelson Labour Hire has a client who is an established Electrical Company located in Tahunanui. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced Office Administrator who can keep their office running

like clockwork and support the team of skilled professionals with energy, precision, and a proactive attitude.

Job Description: As the Office Administrator, you’ll be the central point of

coordination for all administrative and operational tasks. This is a varied and vital
role that requires someone who is not only highly organized but also confident
working independently and communicating effectively across all levels of the
business. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day
operations, providing outstanding support to our electrical team, and delivering

excellent customer service to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Operations: Oversee all daily office operations, ensuring a well-organized and

productive work environment.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Electrical team, including creating jobs, booking in service jobs, scheduling, processing invoices, customer and supplier correspondence, and document preparation.

Customer Service: Handle incoming calls and emails, assist clients with inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, maintain databases, service sheets and ensure data integrity.
Inwards & Outwards Good: Receiving supplier orders allocating to jobs, receipting
into system, processing credits and arranging stock returns.
Financial Administration: Assist with invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and

other financial tasks as needed. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company

policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications: Proven experience in office administration. Strong organizational and multitasking

skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with business
software and tools such as Fergus. Ability to work independently and also contribute

as a valued team member. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
