Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and maintenance of construction sites, including erecting barriers, signage, and scaffolding.
• Perform general labouring tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and site cleaning.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools as required.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Support skilled tradespeople and supervisors in completing tasks as needed.
• Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading materials.
• Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Participate in site meetings and contribute to project planning and problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in civil construction or a related field is preferred but not essential if you have the right attitude.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
