About the Role

Client Service Manager – Housekeeping / Lawn Mowing and Gardening

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Client Service Manager to oversee our housekeeping, lawn mowing, and gardening operations. This role is responsible for ensuring top-tier service delivery, managing team members across various sites, and maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will be organized, hands-on, and passionate about service excellence in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage daily operations of cleaning, lawn mowing, and gardening services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure services meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain efficient service schedules and staff rosters.
  • Monitor use of equipment, materials, and supplies; ensure availability and proper usage.
  • Ensure all services comply with health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
  • Prepare operational reports, maintain service documentation, and support budget control.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in housekeeping, gardening, lawn care, or property maintenance.
  • Proven ability to manage service teams and multiple work sites.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience in developing service schedules and handling operational reporting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, horticultural practices, and health & safety compliance.
  • A full NZ driver’s licence is essential.
Qualifications
  • A New Zealand Certificate or Diploma (Level 4 or 5) in one or more of the following (or an overseas equivalent):
  • Cleaning Operations
  • Horticulture / Landscaping
  • Facilities or Operations Management
  • Business / Hospitality Management
  • Candidates without a formal qualification must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant above industry experience.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: e.g., 32 hours per week

Salary Range: NZD 31 per hour
