Project Engineer - Contract

This is a top tier main contractor with a huge depth of construction expertise and project delivery history. They have a solid pipeline of work into 2025, and projects span large multi residential, healthcare, mixed use, and complex vertical builds over $200M.

They now require assistance from a Project Engineer with strong civil/structural experience to assist on a contract basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of engineering aspects of the project.
• Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure project requirements are met.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for management.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations..
• Provide technical support and resolve issues during project implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of relevant experience in project engineering on civil/commercial projects
• Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Rate: $70 - $90 p/h
