Taupo - Retail Assistant (2 Positions Available)

Hours: 30 hours per week

Are you a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused individual looking to kick-start or grow your career in the retail industry? Binny & Eshika Ltd is looking for two Retail Assistants to join our vibrant team at our busy convenience store in Cambridge, Waikato.

We’re seeking individuals who are passionate about retail, love working with people, and can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner.

Operate POS systems and handle cash/card transactions accurately.

Ensure shelves are well-stocked and merchandise is attractively displayed.

Maintain store cleanliness and organisation at all times.

Assist in receiving, stocking, and inventory management.

Provide product information and recommendations to enhance the customer experience.

Work collaboratively with the team to meet sales targets and uphold store standards.

Adhere to store policies, procedures, and security protocols.

What We’re Looking For: Legal right to work in New Zealand is essential.

Prior retail or customer service experience is advantageous, but not required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate loads.
