Administrator

About the role
As our Administrator, you will work closely with our Engineering teams to assist with delivery of projects; on a day-to-day basis, providing operational, financial, and administrative support.You'll play a key role in providing essential support for general administration and coordination, ensuring our teams operate efficiently and effectively. This is a busy role, so you will be a natural organiser with the ability to easily multi-task and prioritise your team’s workload.
- Assist with the departments reporting, management functions and monthly invoicing.
- Support the day-to-day planning, communication, and administration for the teams.
- Assist with project setup, proposals, document preparation, follow document control processes, and e-filing.
- Data entry input for project cost tracking and management, assisting the Senior Engineers with project timeframes, including tracking delivery to meet our client deadlines.
- Organise and attend meetings including preparing and distributing agendas, presentations, take minutes and manage correspondence.
- Provide front desk reception cover at lunch time once a week and as required.
- Work closely with our wider Administration team, supporting the workload and other general administrative tasks as required for the Christchurch office.

About you
- Proven administration experience with a minimum of 5 years+ in a similar role supporting a team/s in a busy, fast paced environment.
- Tertiary qualification in administration or business management would be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills, working to a high standard, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the capacity to multitask and adapt as priorities change.
- Advanced and highly proficient using Microsoft Office Packages - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Power Point.
- Experience using time management systems would be an advantage.
- Have a proactive approach to problem solving, with strong decision-making skills.
- Enjoy working with and relating to a wide range of people, a strong communicator with the ability to work well within a team.
