Christchurch - Reception / administration
With modern depots located in Auckland, Christchurch, and across the South Island our reputation in the market is second to none.
We currently have a Reception / Administration position available operating out of our Head Office branch located in Riccarton, Christchurch. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm. You will be responsible for varied day to day duties including the efficient distribution of calls and enquiries to the relevant departments and the smooth operation of a number of administrative tasks.
Experience in the freight industry would be an advantage, but what we are really looking for is someone with a fantastic attitude and the willingness to get involved in our business. This is an entry level position with the potential for further career development and opportunity.
Responsibilities & Duties- Be the first point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
- Distribute phone calls and in-person enquiries to the relevant staff member.
- Cover all reception duties as required.
- Assist customers with freight collection enquiries.
- Collation of documentation and management of POD’s.
- Record keeping as required.
- General administration duties.
- Assist when required in other parts of the company, such as Customer Services, etc.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent time management attributes.
- Excellent organisational, oral, and written communication skills.

- Dependability.

This is a full time position.
