The organisation and role:
Our client is in the heritage and visitor sector.
Your role as Project Manager is to be accountable for full project management through scope, design, report and delivery, of all infrastructure projects of this organisation.
The projects include public and back of house spaces to improve visitor experience.
About you:
This role will see you as a vital member of the projects team reporting to the HO Property Services. The organisation undertakes both new projects and asset renewal.
You will be required to manage the end-to-end initiation through to delivery.
With a technical background and understanding of PM methodologies in the design and infrastructure space, you will be adept at managing a variety of stakeholders with a kid glove approach.
You may have some experience working in design, architecture or interiors but you must have the ability to manage the whole programme of work.
Accountabilities:
- End-to-end project management of a diverse range of products
- Design, development and project delivery
- Project initiation, business casing, scope-management, planning, scheduling, resourcing, financials, risk and capture and reporting
- Managing internal external consultants and contractors
- PRINCE2 or PMI/PMBOK
- Coordination and scheduling of projects
- Collaborate with internal stakeholder at all levels across multiple departments
- Project documentation preparation and creation
To be successful for this role you will need the following experience:
- 5 years+ project management in Construction, Property or Design
- Procurement and project management
- Previously led a project team
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Financial reporting skills
- Highly organised and deadline driven
- Initiative
- Strong negotiating skills
- PRINCE2, PMI/PMBOK
- MS Suite
- Adobe Acrobat Professional
