Manufacturing Operator - Christchurch

We are looking for a motivated individual with machine operator experience to join our Production Team based in our plant in Bromley, Christchurch. This role will encompass a number of skillset's based on attention to detail and a methodical mindset.

This is a Night Shift role with a 10pm to 6:30am shift pattern. This shift pattern will apply after a minimum of three months on day shift training and will suit someone who has done shift work or night shift currently or previously.

We pay a shift allowance and meal allowance on night shift that will attract a highly attractive hourly rate for the successful applicant

What you will do:

• Train to manufacture extruded pipe along with associated quality processes
• Ensure the highest product quality standards are maintained.
• Assist with maintaining a clean work environment to comply with expected standards.
• Ensure all equipment is operated according to Site standards.
• All health and safety rules, standards and policies are adhered to, including reporting any incidents or near misses to the Team Leader

To be successful in your application, you will have:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Machine operator experience with manual settings
• Capability of lifting up to 20kgs
• Able to follow a system and replicate it
• Great team player with clear communication skills
• A desire to learn new skills and knowledge
