This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable on the tools, great with customers, and enjoys both onsite work at client locations and hands-on work in our showroom and warehouse.
About the Role:You’ll be involved in a wide range of work, including:
- Servicing, fault-finding and breakdown repairs of automated machine tools
- Assisting with machine installations, loading/unloading machines, and setting up displays
- Commissioning new machines and providing basic training to customers on-site
- Operating and demonstrating machines for customer open days and showroom events
- Supporting warehouse and showroom operations, including unloading containers and preparing machines for dispatch
- Using CMMS software (or willing to learn) for logging jobs and maintenance records
- Mechanical and/or electrical servicing experience, ideally with CNC, metal fabrication machines or similar equipment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Confidence working with hydraulics, HMIs, and automation systems
- The ability to work independently and take initiative is important, as many tasks will be carried out solo at customer sites or in the workshop
- Willingness to travel across NZ and adapt to varied work environments
- Comfortable communicating with customers and representing the company professionally
- Experience using CMMS or digital maintenance systems (preferred but not essential)
- A valid EST license is highly preferred.
- Current NZ driver’s licence required
- Forklift license is an advantage
