Experienced/qualified Bricklayers Wanted

Pay range: $28 - $33/hr

Description

We are seeking experienced bricklayers to join our construction team. An ideal candidate will have the right skills, a strong work ethic, excellent attention to details, the ability to work independently, and is also a good team player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting and working from plans and specifications
• Measuring and cutting bricks, blocks or stones to the required size using hand and power tools.
• Laying bricks, stones, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, and other structures.
• Ensuring quality workmanship in all aspects of bricklaying
• Operating construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborating with team members supervisors and site managers to complete projects on time
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least two years of relevant experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to work out material quantity requirements for ordering and placing orders.
• Steel fixing experience for block wall construction is preferred.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Good attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
