About the Role:We are seeking a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor who is ready to take the next step in their career and cut their teeth in project management/oversight. In this position, you will lead a small team of surveyors and technicians, overseeing a diverse portfolio of land development projects.
Your role will involve managing projects from conception to completion including client management, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
About the role:
- Lead and manage a team of surveyors, providing guidance and direction.
- Oversee cadastral surveys and land development projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Conduct precise measurements and calculations for land subdivision and boundary definition
- Prepare and review survey plans, reports, and documentation
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
You will need:
- Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with a strong background in surveying and land development.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cadastral surveying
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong experience with 12D and LandOnline
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Current NZ working rights
