Since 2017, Property Academy has been helping Kiwis build and protect their financial wealth through KiwiSaver, life and health insurance and very soon mortgage lending advice. As a one-stop-shop for financial solutions, we're expanding our team of financial advisers to continue our mission.
Your Role:As an Insurance Adviser, you'll be a key player in helping clients meet their financial goals. Imagine calling our existing client, receiving thanks for reaching out and helping with their insurance goals. You're not cold calling here which is why 80% of meetings will be done from the comfort of your phone, online meetings, and the occasional physical meeting.
Key task and responsibilities:- Schedule meetings
- Following the 6 step advice process when meeting clients
- Meeting clients to understand their current goals and needs, current personal and financial position and documenting all meeting notes into our CRM system
- Presenting suitable insurance product recommendations, assisting with the application process and after sales service
- Obtain referrals and reviews
- Reporting to your manager
- 40 hours/week - Monday to Friday (additional weekend work available)
- No Experience Required: Having strong customer service and communication skills is required but we welcome individuals with limited or no prior insurance experience. Bring a strong mentality, excellent work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

- Qualification: Level 5 certification in Financial Service with the Life, Disability, and Health insurance strand or evidence that you are enrolled and expected to be obtained before 30th June 2025
- Communication Skills: At least 12 months of customer services/retail experience - Strong English-speaking skills are a must.
- People Skills: Enjoy working with people with proven ability to work with people from different walks of life and a range of different ethnic backgrounds.
- Determination: A hunger for success and a desire to grow with the company - Previous experience with supervising or leading a team is preferred.
