As a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS), you will oversee all aspects of Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) ensuring compliance with Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) at all roadwork sites, maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow, while protecting workers, road users, and the general public.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:- Supervise and direct all TMOs in the field, assigning daily duties and tasks, while identifying opportunities to improve performance and streamline processes.
- Manage site setups, including loading vehicles with the necessary equipment, signage, barriers, and traffic control devices, and providing on-site direction in line with the site-specific traffic management plan (TMP).
- Monitoring and adjust traffic control measures based on site conditions and real-time traffic assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date paperwork and records of all traffic management activities in a timely manner.
- Engage daily with key internal and external stakeholders, including the Operations team, Clients, TSNZ team members, and the public, to strengthen and enhance relationships.
- Industry-relevant Traffic Management Experience is beneficial
- Full New Zealand Drivers Licence (Class 2 desirable)
- STMS Practicing Qualification
- Capable of working effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
