Through the DSS Review Programme, the Group is focused on implementing key recommendations to deliver consistent, equitable services, prioritise high-needs individuals, and strengthen the long-term sustainability of DSS, all while upholding Enabling Good Lives (EGL) principles.
Mō te tūnga / About the role:As the Team Administrator you will provide high quality administrative support to the DSS Operational Performance teams across the country.You will work closely with the wider group to support such things as project administration, coordinating a variety of events and activities, invoicing and maintaining systems and procedures.

We have 2 permanent vacancies, to support our regional operations teams.These roles can be based in either Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Dunedin.
Ōu pūmanawatanga | What you bring:Previous experience providing high level administrative support in the New Zealand public service.Strong knowledge of administrative processes, systems and technology.Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of applications.The ability to work independently and in a team environment.Adaptability and the ability to effectively prioritise and schedule your work to meet deadlines.Strong communication skills and proven experience building effective relationships both within the Ministry and with outside agencies.
