Healthcare Assistant
The Role
Working with one of our well established, large practices across Otahuhu and Papatoetoe, you will perform a range of patient care, housekeeping, and administrative duties across the practice, with the goal of maintaining a clean and organized environment that maximizes patient comfort and quality of care.You'll be responsible for stocking rooms, autoclaving, checking labtests and supplies, as well as administrative and reception duties. You will also co-ordinate a range of practice services and play a major role in prioritising workflows and juggling patient expectations.
Essential Skills- Experience or a qualification within a health care setting (ideally Primary care, but other comparable or adjacent industry experience will be considered)
- Experience with general practice PMS (Medtech32, Medtech evolution, My Practice etc.) is an advantage
- Exceptional face to face customer service skills and phone manner
- Ability to work collaboratively and prioritise workload within a busy environment
- Solid IT understanding with experience working in and improving on a range of systems
- A passion for diversity and inclusion
