We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Capability and Development Associate to support the effective design and delivery of development programs and events for the Auckland business. Having recently become a certified Great Place to Work, this position plays a crucial role in the capability development of all levels within our business and maintaining our strong workplace culture.

Reporting to the Country Manager, the key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Creating the curriculum of the development programs and leading the facilitation to the stakeholders involved.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture within the team and seek new ways of operating that improves efficiency and produces optimal outcomes and experiences.
  • Lead the attendance and facilitation of work-related events to drive collaboration and foster our culture of high performance.
  • Provide business administrative and operational support where required.
  • Solicit input and feedback regularly to fine-tune and improve facilitation skills, program delivery mechanisms, content and materials.
  • Act as local point of contact for internal communication.

The minimum qualifications and experience required for this role are:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in organizational development, adult education, business or similar.
  • Min 2 years previous experience in organisational development and adult education principles.
  • Min 2 years’ experience in administrative support.
  • Demonstrated capability working with adult learning principles and related learning models and methodologies.
  • Experience in using Microsoft office and outlook.
  • Positive, driven attitude with a willingness to learn and go above and beyond to achieve successful business outcomes.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a team environment.
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand (New Zealand Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
