Mode Rentals is a Kiwi–owned independent car rental service with branches in all the main international gateway locations. We offer a wide range of vehicles to get you to your destination as smoothly and comfortably as possible.

This role may suit a mum or dad looking for work flexibility and family life balance or others where a part time role might suit their circumstances.

This role is mostly covering our Human Resources needs with some other secondary and closely related responsibilities included.

• Build and maintain successful HR policies and practices
• Resource planning and recruitment facilitation
• Overseeing training and development
• Working with our teams in fostering and maintaining a welcoming and harmonious workplace atmosphere and culture
• Co-lead and facilitate initiatives to maintain high performing and motivated teams, including appropriate remuneration and rewards
• Liaising with our Customer Experience Manager on our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) development and maintaining awareness and conformance with those
• Facilitate and participate in formal company disciplinary procedures
• Facilitate compliance in HR, including assisting with AEWV approvals from Immigration New Zealand

• Build and maintain successful workplace health and safety policies and practices
• Proactiveness in ensuring a safe workplace
• Respond to health and safety-related complaints or issues

• Be familiar with the privacy principles in the Privacy Act to ensure best practice and compliance with regulatory requirements

• Minimum of one year in a similar role in New Zealand
