Mo te Turanga | About the role:

Reporting to the Casino Hospitality & Events Manager, your ultimate goal will be to lead our team of Hospitality Ambassadors or Functions Attendants, providing exceptional service to your customers. Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources, providing direction, training and development to ensure our hospitality service offering is the best it can be across casino hospitality.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week. As a busy, fast-paced operation that is open 7 days a week, there is a lot of variety across our shift patterns and hours of work can vary, so flexibility will be key.

You will be a true professional who is not only great with customers but can also demonstrate the ability to lead a team with confidence. You will need to have the ability to communicate with all staff to motivate them effectively. You'll also need to be able to solve customer enquiries or complaints with a positive outcome at all times.

You will have a unique blend of business knowledge and customer service expertise to ensure the continued success of our diverse Food and Beverage Operations. Responsible for covering a broad range of Duty Manager activities, your demonstrated computer skills, knowledge of regulations relating to alcohol service and host responsibility, and your high level of professionalism will be your platform for success.

  • You will bring a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role as a Duty Manager
  • You will have a current LCQ & Managers License
  • You will have proven experience in managing a team and creating a positive culture that produces excellent customer service
  • You will be confident and experienced in cash handling, rostering and bar management
