Budget Property & Electrical Services Limited is currently looking for a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Mechanic & Electrician to join our growing team. Position Overview:As an Air Conditioning Mechanic & Electrician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial, commercial, and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You will also be assisting with electrical installations and maintenance under the supervision of a NZ registered electrician.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and repair components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, and gauges.Maintain and troubleshoot air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including filling systems with gas or fluid, checking for leaks, and replacing defective components.
Conduct test operations, check mechanisms, and adjust system controls to ensure optimal performance.
Solder, rivet, weld, and braze pipes and components as needed.
Work with a NZ registered electrician on electrical installations and wiring under supervision.
Keep records of work completed, documenting causes of malfunction and the actions taken.
Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while working.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Air Conditioning Mechanic or Electrician.Strong understanding of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Experience with centralized air-conditioning installations is an advantage.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
