About the Role
We are looking for a Consultant Urologist to join the Surgical Department at Whangarei Hospital. Working across a diverse population and broad range of acute medicine specialities you will have the chance to truly make a difference whilst developing your career.
We are looking for a skilled Consultant Urologist to provide safe, efficient and effective urology services to the Northland community. This role is pre-dominantly based in Whangarei however does include occasional travel to rural areas including Kaitaia Hospital on a rostered basis.There is an on-call roster split between the consultants, and you will also need to participate in the supervision and teaching of resident medical officers within the urology service.

About you
To be considered you must have or be eligible for specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) in a Urology Vocational scope of practice.
If you are currently overseas / not yet registered, we can assist you with the application process to obtain MCNZ registration.
