Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and attentive Project Engineer to oversee the design and delivery of innovative food-grade packing equipment. This senior role will be essential in managing the entire project lifecycle to ensure alignment with our client's commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.As a Project Engineer, you’ll drive projects from planning through completion, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of specific projects to align with company strategy and goals.Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for project handovers, defining scope and details with clients to ensure project success.
Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Work with Directors on project estimations, establish budgets, and implement tools to improve costing protocols.
Procurement Coordination: Scope and define requirements for purchased equipment in collaboration with the procurement department.
Documentation and Manuals: Produce equipment manuals and project-specific documentation to ensure project requirements are clearly outlined and met.
Timeline and Budget Management: Ensure projects meet deadlines and stay within budget, managing all project-related variations and onsite activities.
Hands-On Guidance: Provide practical support to staff involved in high-profile, complex projects, offering risk management and engineering advice.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and sales teams to scope and manage smaller projects and equipment upgrades.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to support project success.
Compliance: Adhere to company policies for equipment care, fire safety, and health & safety standards.

Budget and Timeline Compliance: Meet client and company expectations by adhering to project budgets and timelines.Timely Documentation: Provide accurate and timely project documentation to align with client and internal deadlines.
Effective Communication: Deliver the appropriate level of communication and support to project staff, both on-site and remotely.
Requirements
Experience in engineering and manufacturing processesStrong understanding of project budgeting, costing, and estimation
Proven track record in managing projects within budget and timeline
Excellent client and stakeholder relationship management skills
Willingness to occasionally travel domestically and internationally as needed
