HVAC Technician - Christchurch

36 - $40 per hour

Our client is a New Zealand-owned company specializing in comprehensive commercial building services. They are currently seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join their team.

About the role:

Your duties will include:

• Preventative and periodic maintenance of air conditioning systems, including single split AC units and commercial VRF/VRV systems
• Maintaining strong relationships with key employees, site supervisors, facility managers, and building owners within customer accounts
• Identifying defects or failures that need to be remedied and reporting these to the maintenance coordinator
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of key suppliers, systems in the industry, and recommended maintenance procedures.
• Observing company and customer health and safety policies

• A secure, full-time position, minimum 40 hours per week
• A fully maintained company vehicle
• Uniforms, phone, and tablet
• Ongoing training, coaching, and support
• A productive work environment within a friendly team

About you:

• HVAC or Electrical background
• Ability to work unsupervised and with team members
• Clean NZ drivers license and criminal record
• Fit and able to work at heights
• Electrical Services Technician license preferred
