We are hiring for JK INTERIORS LIMITED, a professional interior fit-out and finishing company based in Auckland. We specialise in residential and commercial plastering projects, delivering high-quality finishes across the Auckland region. We are currently seekingskilled Plasterersto join our team.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Days Required: Needs to be available from Monday to Saturday, between 7:30am to 6:30 pm. May need to work during weekends or public holidays.
Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $35.00Hours per Week: Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week. Up to 50 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications to determine required materials and plastering methods
- Applying coats of plaster to interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and partitions to form fire-resistant, moisture-resistant, and decorative surfaces
- Spreading and smoothing plaster using trowels, brushes, or spray guns
- Fixing pre-cast ornamental mouldings and installing fibrous plaster sheets and cornices
- Patching, repairing, and resurfacing damaged plaster surfaces
- Mixing plastering compounds to the required consistency
- Ensuring surface finish meets design and construction requirements
- Sanding and polishing finished surfaces
- Cleaning work areas and maintaining tools and equipment
- Complying with health and safety regulations and company standards
Requirements for the applicants:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in solid and/or fibrous plastering OR completion of a relevant plastering qualification
- Skilled in applying a range of plaster finishes and working with hand tools and plastering machines
- Familiarity with fibrous plaster components such as cornices, ceiling panels, and ornamental mouldings is preferred
- Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding when required
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport are preferred
- Ability to attend an onsite interview is advantageous
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- A good team player with attention to detail and quality finishes
