Position: Hydroseed Assistant
Job Overview
Join our team as a Hydroseed Assistant and help create lush, green lawns! You’ll be responsible for hydroseeding, lawn preparation, and assisting with landscaping and site work as needed.
Responsibilities & Duties
Hydroseeding & Lawn Preparation- Assist with hydroseeding application and maintenance.
- Set up & monitor temporary irrigation.
- Apply fertilizer for healthy lawn growth.
- Weed spraying & pest control to maintain quality lawns.
- Help with timber boxing, planting, and irrigation.
- Operate heavy machinery & skid steer loader when required.
- Drive truck & trailer safely and efficiently.
- Support the landscape team as needed.
- Maintain yard & vehicles to keep operations running smoothly.
- Valid, clean driver’s license + own transport + ability to drive manual (Class 2 license is a bonus!).
- Comfortable operating machinery & skid steer loaders safely.
- Strong attention to detail when following landscape plans.
- Physically fit team player who can also work independently.
- Understanding of Health & Safety procedures and company protocols.
- Ability to follow verbal & written instructions and take initiative.
- Great communication, punctuality & organizational skills.
- Passionate about hydroseeding, lawns, and landscaping!
