We are looking for 3 carpenters to join our friendly team in eastern Auckland. Wanda Construction Ltd is running for over 7 years.
The position on offer is for a Permanent Full-Time position.
Suitable applicants should have a minimum of 2 years' work experience as carpenter.
Cut material, assemble and nail parts.
Erect frames and trusses.
Lay sub-flooring and floorboards.
Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.
Interior lining and finish.
Set up concrete foundation.
Ensure workmanship and observe health and safety regulations.
Order materials if required.
You need to have good health, character, and a good work ethic with a can-do attitude. be able to work unsupervised, be physically fit, and be reliable. Applicant should have access to transportation that can get you to the work site reliably as you will be working in different sites from time to time.
Remuneration will be in the range of $25 to $30 per hour and is indicative of the applicant's background, skills and past work experience. The employee is offered a normal work week of 40 hours with overtime available when required, with normal work hours being Monday to Saturday.
