Senior Waitstaff
Goldie's has only been around 4 months but has quickly become a local favourite. We provide a fun and relaxed bar and dining environment that focuses on delicious food and drink in an unfussy way. With staff members moving on to go travelling, there is a chance to join our small and dynamic crew.
The position we are looking for is senior wait staff, where you will work your way to being responsible for the day to day runnings of the restaurant. If you are looking for a new challenge or wanting to take a step up in your career then please get in touch.
Responsibilities:- Working with the owners to oversee daily operations in the restaurant and ensuring it is ready for a busy service. Business can fluctuate and get busy at odd times so always staying on top of restocking, polishing and restaurant presentation throughout the day are all very important things to stay on top of.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service. Greeting people warmly, anticipating needs and guests leaving feeling uplifted from a positive experience are all core values of Goldie's.
- Create a positive and enjoyable work environment, there is leadership in this role so you will be expected to run a shift and be able to motivate those around you in a constructive way.
- As this is a leadership role, relevant experience is a must. You will be expected to be able to run a busy service and assist owners in managing 1-2 people
- Ideally you will have a genuine interest in serving wine/beer/cocktails and other beverages.
- An LCQ licence and Duty Manager's is helpful but not a must. There is an opportunity to gain these while at Goldie's.
