We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Auto-body Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing damage to metal, fiberglass, and plastic bodywork on vehicles and forming replacement vehicle panels.

JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Auto-body Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing damage to metal, fiberglass, and plastic bodywork on vehicles and forming replacement vehicle panels.
Registration or licensing may be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assessing vehicle damage and determining the best repair method in coordination with the team.
- Removing damaged parts of the vehicle using hand tools, power tools, or welding equipment.
- Repairing minor and major body damage, including dents, scratches, and rust.
- Using sophisticated frame machines to align damaged parts.
- Refitting, adjusting, and aligning body parts such as doors and hoods.
- Refinishing repaired surfaces by sanding, buffing, and applying paint and sealants.
- Performing cosmetic repairs such as paintless dent removal and wheel restoration.
- Inspecting vehicles for structural integrity and quality of workmanship.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with industry standards.
- Communicating effectively with the manager and other technician.
- Proven experience as an Auto-body Technician for at least 3 years.
- Formal training as an Auto-body Technician will be advantageous.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in using auto body repair tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle structures, materials, and repair techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job
