As an Excavator Operator at Remarkable People, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of excavation equipment on various construction sites in Hamilton. This is a temp position, with strong potential to go permanent.
What you'll be doing- Operate excavation machinery, such as hydraulic excavators, to dig, move, and load materials at construction sites.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and care of the excavation equipment, performing routine checks and reporting any issues.
- Work collaboratively with the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations at the job site.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest operating techniques and industry best practices.
- Previous experience as an Excavator Operator, preferably in the construction industry.
- Familiar with cute, retaining walls, drilling and pilling
- Must have at least class 2 license.
- Proficient in the operation of various excavation equipment, including hydraulic excavators.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Valid driver's licence and certification for operating excavation equipment.
