This roleoffers an opportunity to provide best-practice sexual healthcare to patientswhile working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.As a SexualHealth Physician, your key responsibilities will include:Conducting outpatient clinic duties and providing competent, ethical management of sexual health conditions.Offering expert advice, referrals, and consultations with other healthcare professionals.Supervising, teaching, and contributing to research initiatives.Maintaining clinical documentation and participating in quality improvement processes.About theTeamOur team ismade up of doctors, clinical nurse specialists, nursing staff, andadministrative professionals.
We work together to provide a high-quality,patient-centred sexual health service to the Canterbury region.For moreinformation on living and working in Christchurch, [click here].About YouTo besuccessful in this role, you will need:A medical qualification recognized for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Sexual Health Physician.A current Annual Practising Certificate.Postgraduate medical experience with expertise in the medical management of sexually transmitted infections.Experience in sexual health, family planning, or medical gynaecology is highly desirable.Strong written and oral communication skills.The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.A patient-focused, empathetic approach to healthcare.Working atHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu OraHealth NewZealand | Te Whatu Ora is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusiveworkforce.
