Courier Driver

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Courier Drivers to join our team in Wellington, Lower Hutt. This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 32 hours per week, including some Saturday work. This is an immediate start to hit the ground running, you will be given full training so other than needing roller skates you will be ready to get into it!

• The successful applicant will be part of a small team so reliability and a team player attitude are essential.
• Parcel delivery and sortation.
• Valid full driver licences with the ability to drive manual and automatic vans including Dangerous Good Licence or ability to gain full driver’s licence including DG Licence.
• Honest, reliable and self motivated fast learner.
• Flexible and adaptable. There could be an opportunity for extra work to cover the leave of other team members.
• We have a modern and safe fleet of vehicles so a clean driving record is necessary.
• Able to pass MOJ, TORO consent form and a pre- employment drug test.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25Kg.
• Display a willingness to start early in the morning and finish late as needed to ensure timely and efficient delivery and pickups of packages.
• Follow Health and safety regulations.
• Comply with driving rules and Regulation, report defects, accidents or violations.
• Perform duties in any weather condition, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in challenging environments.
• Sound geographical knowledge but that will come with familiarity of route.
• Previous experience is preferred however not essential. Full training and Van will be provided.
