- **Shifts**: Monday to Friday, 02:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with occasional Saturday work.
- **Competitive payrate**: $45.00 - $49.00/hour + allowance
Our client is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and innovative workplace. As an Engineer in their team, you'll be responsible for ensuring regular maintenance and servicing of plant equipment while contributing to key projects that keep operations running smoothly.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Perform engineering and electrical maintenance on plant equipment.
- Ensure repairs and servicing are completed within allocated timeframes.
- Manage electrical strategies to identify and resolve issues on-site.
- Contribute to project work, ensuring timely completion and meeting quality specifications.
- Maintain and improve site H&S and environmental systems.
- Regularly attend project meetings, providing valuable input and updates.
- **NZQA Level 4 Certification in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering**.
- **Electrical Service Technician (EST) or EWRB registered Electrician** with mechanical expertise.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter preferred, with hands-on machinery maintenance and repair skills.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills for efficient issue diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to work in a cold environment, lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and handle repetitive tasks.
- Strong ability to work effectively in a small team.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with colleagues and management.
- Strong focus on health and safety and compliance with all H&S protocols.
