In addition, an acute inpatient service is provided at Tauranga Hospital, alongside an after-hours acute endoscopy service. The Gastroenterology team includes seven SMOs, advanced training registrar roles, nurse endoscopist and clinical nurse specialists.
Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty commenced participation in the National Bowel Screening in 2022 and is continuing to meet national wait time indicators.This is a permanent, full-time position.About YouWe are looking to recruit an SMO with proficiency in the provision of Gastroenterology specialist care to join our service.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery of both diagnostic and interventional procedures and enthusiasm to participate in the ongoing development of services for the people of Hauora a Toi.
