The after hour’s roster is well supported by skilled and experienced front line clinical staff who work with a cultural team. Position Description | Consultant PsychiatristAbout the Team/Service/ LocationTe Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti Mental Health and Addiction Services, Te Ara Maioha, have several opportunities to either explore specialties or generalist Consultant Psychiatry in General Adult, Mental Health Services for Older People and Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Days and hours can be negotiated.Due to new funding allocated to Tairāwhiti region for development of new service models and facilities that will better provide for the needs of the local community, now is the time to be part of shaping service delivery.
There is a focus in co-design and strong community engagement in addressing inequalities for Māori.Join our dynamic healthcare team in Tairawhiti, where we are dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to our community (population 50,000) on the East coast of the North Island.
