Business Development focused role for a Registered Architect

Exciting opportunity to join a small Architectural practice in Wellington and help work closely with the owner to grow the business, getting involved in shaping the trajectory of a well supported business. If you are an Architect who is more client facing and from a higher level position, this is a really exciting opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely in the industry to proactively business develop.
• Make the most of your industry connections bringing work into a well established and well supported business.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and team resources
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success
• Assist and review documentation sets
• Conduct construction site visits to ensure adherence to design and quality standards
• Mentor and train junior staff members

Requirements:

• Registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial space design within New Zealand.
• Proven business development experience.
• Strong technical and project management skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Understanding of building codes, construction materials, and construction techniques.
