Title: Cabinet Installer
Responsibilities of this role:
- Able to understand kitchen drawings and written specifications.
- Understand work orders, change orders, and all other related job documents.
- Ability to use job specific tools to install kitchen cabinetry, hardware and trim
- Assemble the parts and affix them to the walls.
- Hang shelves, build pedestals and shells, lay tops and affixes door hinges, drawer slides and handles.
- Kitchen cabinet installers work after the plumbers, electricians and drywall hangers are finished.
- Tops must be perfectly smooth and level for the benchtops to go on properly. All visible wood must be finished uniformly to the customer's desire.
- Clean up the sawdust, discarded wood and product packaging. Vacuum and dust the work area before leaving each day. Maintain a safe and clean job site.
- As each day ends, remove all tools and load them onto a van.
- Manage time clock and clock in and out daily for jobs and breaks
- Oversee and assist with deliveries and installation
- Report directly to site supervisor
- Buy their own work gear and hand tools. This proves to be an ongoing cost to replace and upgrade tools.
- This position is to be a team player and help in all areas, as needed. Maintain a positive, professions and motivated attitude.

Job pre-requisites:
- A qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 in a relevant field.
- At least two years of relevant work experience may substitute for the qualifications
- Physically fit and hard-working attitude
- Actively cooperate and coordinate with other teammates.
- Be self-motivated and good problem solving skills
