Delivery driver - Christchurch

Hagley Windows & Doors is a leading window and door provider to the Canterbury building industry and has been operating since 1973.

We have an opportunity for an person to join our large manufacturing operation in our state of the art, purpose-built, factory in Waterloo Business Park.

You'll be part of a 6 person, professional team responsible for deliveries of our manufactured product to various building sites throughout Canterbury and occasionally in other South Island locations. Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Your duties will include:

• safely load, secure and transport aluminium windows and doors to various locations,
• providing professional and friendly service to all customers and site personnel,
• assisting builders and site managers with unloading of product,
• assisting with delivery of commercial installation equipment,
• supporting the warehouse team in organising and storing of finished goods,
• ensure all vehicles are kept clean, well maintained and safe for operation.

To be considered for this role, you'll need to be:

• proven experience as a delivery driver,
• hold a minimum of class 2 drivers licence but class 4 would be a advantage,
• good geographical knowledge of Christchurch and Canterbury region,
• ability to lift and carry heavy items safely,
• genuine desire to deliver a positive experience for our customers,
• enjoy working as part of a team,
• be courteous to other road users,
• be punctual,
• have problem-solving skills,
• have strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with delivery schedules,
• be a resident or hold a valid NZ work visa,
