In a Nutshell

The Automotive Dismantler and Reassembler is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are dismantled and reassembled to the highest quality standard as set out by AMI MotorHub.

This important work focuses on timely planning and co-ordination of processes and activities with the Production Manager and Repair Technicians.

The Day to Day Work will see you:
  • Performing a quick pre-strip of vehicles; ensuring all damage is identified, reporting any extra damage to the Estimator and Production Manager
  • Prechecking of sensors, lights etc. prior to dismantling of vehicles
  • Dismantling and reassembly of vehicles
  • Label, tag and store all parts
  • Refit repaired parts and panels
  • Complete quality checklist and sign off the dismantle and reassembly ensuring no rework
  • Inspect vehicles for faults and imperfections before and after dismantling and reassembling, reporting any faults to the Production Manager
  • Ensure that required documentation is complete and compliant before handover
  • Follow all safety and security procedures

Hours of work will be 42.5 hours per week, to be worked during normal business hours, 7:00am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

In applying for this role, you’ll bring with you
  • Trade qualification or equivalent certification (preferable but not essential)
  • Experience in the automotive repair industry
  • Experience with vehicle assembly
  • Can do attitude
