About the role:We are seeking a Registered Mental Health clinician to join EPIT (Early Psychosis Intervention Team) in the role of Clinical Team Coordinator, in the vibrant and culturally diverse community of South Auckland.At Counties Manukau Health people and their lives matter to us.
Our community based Early Psychosis Intervention Service (EPIT), is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic clinician to join our mahi. Our team engages young adults (<30 years) and their whaanau along the road towards their recovery. This specialist service provides assessment and treatment for adolescents and young adults presenting with a first episode of psychosis.Our EPIT service provides specialist mental health care for those with a first episode of psychosis.
We also provide early intervention for those whaiora presenting with symptoms suggestive of Ultra High Risk of developing a psychotic illness; and provide consultation and liaison with primary care partners for those with mild to moderate concerns.As the Clinical Team Coordinator of our team, you will support the clinicians to manage their daily workload, address complexities in the clinical presentations that arise from the mahi, and work closely with the SMO and Team Manager to move the service forward.Essential:• Registration and an Annual Practising Certificate• Full, clean driver’s licence• Ability to work in a diverse communityPreferred:• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role• Leadership experience• Knowledge of Early Intervention modelPlease apply online by clicking on the “Apply Now” button below.If you have any questions, please contact Amon Iva in the Recruitment Centre at 092760044 ext 53461.
