What will you be doing | Ngā whainga We need an experienced Management Accountant to join our high performing finance team who has an eye for detail to ensure quality financial information.The key requirement of the position will be to provide financial insights and analysis, and be involved with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and reporting.
You will provide analysis and commentary for decision-making purposes, as well as NZ Government and public reporting requirements.We need an exceptional people person to partner with key stakeholders in the business, making yourself visible, available, and approachable, when it comes to providing reporting, analysis, and advice.
Therefore, your communication and stakeholder engagement skills will be a strength.What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūrangaBe CA qualified with a tertiary qualification in Finance and Accounting Have well-developed management accounting experience and ideally worked closely with marketing teams.A commercial background.Strong time management skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.Previous experience in a business partnering type role.Strong analytical skills and financial acumen to analyse data, identifying opportunities and risks, with ability to succinctly explain key drivers to stakeholders.Describe yourself as a quick learner.A problem solver with a great eye for detail.You're a self-motivated, proactive, and organised person.You are a great communicator, enabling you to form strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.You have excellent systems knowledge, especially with Excel, and know how to utilise systems to remain effective and efficient.Experience working with Oracle ERP and EPM would be an advantage.We need someone who can make an impact quickly, can think strategically and who's able to operationalise an effective plan to manage and ensure optimal results.
